Filter media comes in two
styles: Physical ( nets, mats and screens ) and Biological ( BioBalls
and BioBlox). The physical filters keep debris from getting to the pump
and clogging it while the biological filters promote a healthy ecosystem
by allowing the beneficial bacteria to be prolific. Both types of filter
are a must for any healthy pond system.
